Avalon Springs, Montagu
Hot Springs and Resort
Western Cape
Day visitors are welcome at the resort and have their own area that is separate from the resort pools. The pools are beautiful and clear, welcoming with turquoise water. Each pool has a different temperature, from super warm to slightly warm. With ample space for everyone to share and enjoy the area.
The warmest pool was a hit at 9am, with the adults chilling nicely while watching the kids going down the water slide, just a few meters away. The adults all joined the kids on the slides too, and exhilarating fun experience! It takes about 8 - 14 seconds to get down the winding slide, what a jol!
There is a smart new Bistro, modern new ablutions, a large braai area with benches, lush green lawn and incredible mountain views. All the pools are surrounded by immaculate gardens with lots of nooks and crannies, bridges and walking paths.
You can view the accommodation at the resort here.
Or stay at one of the local Airbnb's in Montagu town, which is an 8 minute drive out of the town centre. We stayed at The Granadilla Cottage, which is a quaint and cosy 2 sleeper, perfect for a stop-over, close to the restuarants and shops.
