A picturesque shaded campsite with little nooks and crannies to camp along the shallow river, and little basic cabins for those of you want the experience without the tent. It has walk ways, bridges and a hiking trail that climb past 22 individual waterfalls. 

This was a quick Wild Gallivanting stop-over,  en route to Groot Winterhoek Nature Reserve, so we took one of the little cabins and managed to see about 5 of the waterfalls before the sunset. Some of the rock pools are big enough for a refreshing wake-up, wild dippity dip. This is a great spot for a little break away from the city life, with lots of open space to play. Only 2 hours from Cape Town and a hour and a half from Stellenbosch.

Remember to take a braai grill and all your necessities. The closest town is Porteville where you can do your last minute shopping.
