Nona Rosa Bushcamp, Overberg
Malgas, Western Cape
A large campsite with massive view over canola fields, a sea of golden yellow in the spring time. On lush green grass and trees for shade.
There is a lapa for groups and gas shower in rustic but good ablutions. Although wild, rustic and absolutely quiet, this campsite is well kept and tidy.
Our Wild Gallivanting camping experiences mostly find us alone at these remote campsites...and its marvelous. We had the whole place to ourselves to ride bikes, suntan, play frisbee. There is a drive, lined with thorn trees, down to the river for a swim and wonder and explore.
This superb campsite is hidden alomg the Slang Rivier on a farm between Swellendam and Witsand. The R324 is a sand road between the two is also really beautiful and full of interesting plant life and great views.
