Definitely a highly recommended, absolutely stunning and diverse hike. It is moderate to difficult, although a fair amount of the trail is through a stunning gorge…the last leg is all the way up the mountain. 

There is a honesty system in place for fridge drinks and grocery cupboard. The fridge is full of anything you thought you needed to drink after the long hike...and everything you never knew you needed unitl you saw it. Its a fantastic house full to the brim with all kitchen and comfort requirements.

You do need to hike with your clean bedding and your food requirements.

The view is absolutely stunning with a splash pool just off the patio decking. We highly recommend at least one day there before doing the hike back to the car.

The hike back is a different trail over a set of hills and valleys. With a rock pool worth wondering off the path for...so much more than expected! It is also a long walk back, make sure you have enough water for the middle section on the top of the escarpment. The trail ends back in the gorge where you started.

This is a 2 day hike, you need to hike to this specific house and the hike is limited to only the people who have booked the High Mountain Cottage.
