The cosiest little farm cottage, Kernelia Cottage made an ideal spot to work remotely for a few days. The cottage is off grid, but does offer wi-fi and the large shower is heated with a donkey boiler. With attention to detail and little baskets of treats to enjoy, they have really made it a comfortable farm stay for two, which Includes a delicious breakfast delivered in a basket each morning.

There is a big wine barrel as a splash pool to cool down on the hot days and a dam just a short walk away. The patio looks over the whole farm and you can hear the farm working in the distance and occasionally some horse riders trot by. In the evenings we saw a couple of wild hare playing in the drive way. One can wonder around the area on foot or take drives on farm roads to explore a little.
