De Hoop Cottages is situated on a farm at the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains. Nestled snuggly with incredible close up views of the lush gorges and tall peaks. Bursting with deep, rich, green plants and trees. There are a few dams on the property and one especially magic one got us floating on tubes and staring up at the mountains until sunset.

These self catering cottages offer wi-fi, which enabled us to work remotely from here for a few days. And in the afternoons we would go for walks and drives around the farm. 

There are also wooden cabins available, situated in a forest. A bit like camping but no tent is required. You can view view The Boshuisies on their website. De Hoop is an absolute gem of a piece of land and it is amazing to be able to visit these sorts of places in South Africa.
