This has truelly got to be the most scenic campsite in South Africa. Tietiesbaai is so beautiful and scenic and has a raw wildness about it. Each campsite is right on the beach, the sand is white and the sea is calm. With separate little bays to choose from. The largest bay has shallow water and no waves, wonderful for children to play, and watch little fish. And if you are brave,  you can have a chilly swim in the Atlantic water and swim out to rocks for tanning and just general ocean viewing. 

The campsite is on Cape Colombine Nature Reserve and booking can be made through Saldanha Bay Municipality Website, and it is recommended in case you arrive and the campsite is fully booked.

Along the coastline are pathways for gentle hiking towards TrekosKraal.

The views are incredibly picturesque and it is so quiet and wild out there. There are some fishing and swimming spots along the way, please note: You have to have a fishing license to fish off the coast anywhere in South Africa.
