The Old Stone Shed was used as a sheep sheering shed, many moons ago. It has thick walls built with big rocks and has been renovated into a very comfortable and charming cottage. Fitting perfectly into its environment in the Karoo region, South Africa. The cottage sleeps 5, and is a delightful stop-over for a family when travelling to or from Joburg to Cape Town.

The night sky will dazzle you with an entire Milky Way, twinkling bold and bright. The farm is quiet and peaceful and there is lots to explore, whether you take a walk up the hill or go for a drive to admire the landscape.

There is also a Corbelled House available on the farm, and a treehouse!

If you are looking to do a journey towards Cape Town, off the main roads, we highly recommend staying at Apollo De Karoo, which is just past SALT, Telescope in Sutherland.
